5GC School Trip to Western Approaches

We had an enjoyable day at Western Approaches in Liverpool today. We had a tour of the bunker and were taught how important the bunker was in supporting the war effort during WW2. We then enjoyed a 'Coding and Ciphers' workshop looking at morse code and cracking some wartime messages. It was a great day which really brought our Wars of the World topic alive.
