Church Links

We enjoy strong links with the Parish Church of All Saints. Members of the church community regularly lead collective worship. We often hold times of worship in the church. Other members of the community visit to support the school and the learning of the children and these sessions are widely enjoyed by the school community.

You can find out more about the church on our community page or by following the link here

Communion Service for Year 5 and 6

Following on from their work on the eucharist, Rev. Lynne returned to school to hold a communion service for the Y5 and 6 children and staff. It was a very special time and the children really enjoyed the experience.

Year 5 and 6 learning about the Eucharist

Reverend Lynne visited school to speak to the children about the celebration of the Eucharist. The children loved learning how to set up the altar and the different components involved in communion.

Christmas Service

Simon and Louise visited us to lead the KS2 Christmas service, with help from some children who did readings, prayers and shared Christmas thoughts. It was great to have Simon and Louise with us again and we are excited to be able to join them at All Saints in the Spring! Thank you for helping us to recognise the Christian significance in some of our Christmas traditions - we particularly enjoyed the costumes!

The Christmas Jpurney

Members of St Nicholas' Church invited some of the Junior children into Church to watch the Christmas Journey. The children were able to speak to a shepherd, a wise man, Mary and Joseph as they gave their own interpretations of the Christmas Story. At the end, we were invited to watch the final part of the Christmas Story, with everyone in the stable and baby Jesus lying in a manger. We all enjoyed this experience.
