Our first week in Reception

This week in Recption has been all about building relationships with new friends and new teachers! We are all settling in nicely and enjoying investigating and exploring our new environment!

We have had lots of fun learning through play and learning all of the new rules and routines! We understand that it's a big change for the children and we are so proud of them all!

This week we have enjoyed singing songs and rhymes, drawing pictures of our families, using pedal bikes, experimenting with percussion instruments, creating and making, enjoying the home corner and baby clinic role play areas and so much more!

Next week we will be exploring colour, driven by the stories 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenas and 'Colours' by Roald Dahl. We have lots of exciting learning planned!
