Power to drive workshop

Today, year 5/6 have taken part in a workshop all about Electricity with ElevationX power to drive.

They learned about renewable, non renewable and sustainable energy sources and identified different electrical appliances that they know of.

Children then looked at electrical cars and had a look at using a circuit to make their own electrical car which included a competition to see which groups car could travel the furtherest distance after being powered. Group RC power managed to get their car to travel the longest distance.
